  • Our cancellation policy aims to ensure that the therapeutic relationship and our clinicians' time are respected. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we strive to be understanding and compassionate. However, last-minute cancellations or no-call no-shows can disrupt our schedule and prevent other clients from accessing the support they need.

Clients have the option to cancel their appointments at no charge up to 48 hours in advance. However, cancellations made after this timeframe will be subject to a 50% charge of the service price. In the case of a no-call no-show, the full price of the service will be charged to the card on file. These policies are in place to account for the time and preparation that goes into each session.

We want to emphasize that our policies are not meant to be punitive but rather reflect the reverence we have for the therapeutic relationship and the dedication of our therapists. We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances beyond your control, and exceptions can be made in such situations.

We encourage open communication between clients and our clinic. If you anticipate a need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. By doing so, we can work together to find a solution that is fair to both parties and ensures that our therapists can continue providing the highest level of care to all of our clients.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy. It allows us to maintain the quality and availability of our services, ensuring that our therapists can continue investing their time and expertise in supporting you on your therapeutic journey.

  • At the Mind Medicine Clinic, we believe in providing high-quality care to our clients while ensuring that our clinicians are able to sustain their work and invest their time and expertise in their craft. To achieve this, we have established a fee structure that supports the financial stability of our clinicians and the ongoing sustainability of our practice.

We understand that therapy is an investment in your well-being, and we are committed to delivering a valuable and transformative experience. Our primary goal is to create a supportive and effective therapeutic environment that prioritizes both the well-being of our clients and the professional fulfillment of our therapists.

  • We are dedicated to making therapy accessible and we understand the importance of health insurance coverage in achieving this goal. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we are actively researching and exploring the process of insurance credentialing with select insurance companies.

While we work towards accepting insurance, we encourage clients to explore other options for coverage, such as out-of-network benefits or flexible spending accounts (FSAs). We understand the importance of affordability and accessibility, and we are happy to provide documentation and receipts that can be submitted for reimbursement through these alternative channels.

  • Intersectionality is a lens that Mind Medicine clinicians use to recognize all the parts of you that make you unique. By considering aspects of identity like gender, race, sexuality etc., we can better understand ourselves and our relationships to one another.

By integrating intersectionality into our practice, Mind Medicine clinicians can create a safe and affirming environment where you feel understood, validated, and empowered. It supports you in exploring the intersections of your identities, understanding the impact of systemic oppression on your mental well-being, and working towards healing and resilience within your unique social and cultural context.

Ultimately, an intersectional approach to mental health helps us better understand the complex and multidimensional nature of mental health experiences, fostering a more inclusive and effective therapeutic environment.
